When Mr. Hawkins fell, he broke his hip. He is laid up at his home for several weeks. More importantly, one of the women who used to work here told Mrs. Hawkins about her husband’s payday entertainment. Apparently, Mrs. Hawkins’ father started the shirt factory and she controls the finances. She hired an older woman to keep the records and hand out the pay packets. We are all so happy to have Mr. Hawkins’ awful shenanigans stopped.
